Over the last twenty-five years of business, A.J. Cervantes has accumulated extensive experience in diversified businesses with a proven strength in corporate finance and communications which spans numerous industries and products. His experience includes strategic planning, corporate branding and positioning, mergers and acquisitions, business development, reverse mergers and reorganization of middle market companies. As the driving force behind Trilogy, A.J. Cervantes' mission has been to identify undervalued companies and propel those companies to a postion of dominance in their respective marketplaces. In A.J.'s view, Trilogy is a "next generation" financial services company with a fully integrated marketing approach to generate significant visibility for undervalued companies ranging from highly proactive, technology-driven communications including sophisticated targeted email, direct mail, and one-on-one sales to a substantial and proprietary institutional database.
Prior to his work with Trilogy, throughout the 90s, A.J. was engaged in the reorganization and recapitalization of troubled middle market companies serving as interim CEO for a number of public and private entities, facilitating both Chapter 11 and out-of-court reorganizations. In the 1980s, A.J. served as president and CEO of Mediacom Industries, Inc., a publicly held company engaged in the finance, production and distribution of feature film and television productions. Prior to Mediacom, he founded and served as president of the international independent music company Butterfly Records, distributed by MCA Records domestically and EMI Music internationally. Butterfly was sold to Rhino Records, a division of Warner Music in the late 80s.
He also is the founder and former chairman of All Children Count, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c)3 foundation formed in 1992 to provide special services for HIV-infected children and their families, principally through Bethesda House, the Salvation Army's Residential AIDS facility in Los Angeles. A.J. graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies. |
