Alfonso J. Cervantes
Mr. Cervantes is the Executive Chairman of Trilogy. For over 30 years Mr. Cervantes has accumulated extensive experience in diversified businesses in the public markets with a proven strength in corporate finance. Since 2002, Mr. Cervantes has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Trilogy Capital Partners, Inc., a financial services group and predecessor of Trilogy Capital Group. His significant capital markets experience includes M&A, IPOs, APOs, PIPEs and Bridge financings as well as strategic communications and reorganization of middle-market companies. Both as a principal and a financial services professional, Mr. Cervantes has facilitated a significant number of corporate finance transactions.
Most recently, in 2012, Mr. Cervantes, through Trilogy Capital Partners, founded Staffing 360 Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: STAF), an emerging growth public company engaged in the provision of temporary staffing services on a global basis. As the company’s Vice Chairman and President, in a period of five quarters, Mr. Cervantes completed five acquisitions, facilitated approximately $25 million of debt and equity financing and drove Staffing 360 from a pure startup to over $130 million in annualized revenues with approximately 3,000 employees. In addition, Mr. Cervantes, through Trilogy Capital, was a co-founder of The Grilled Cheese Truck, Inc. (OTCQB: GRLD), the first national rollout of gourmet food trucks.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Minton is the Chief Executive Officer of Trilogy Capital Group. He is a highly skilled executive with over 10 years of capital markets experience in both small and large organizations. Mr. Minton provides a depth of knowledge and expertise on private to public transactions, with a particular emphasis on capital raising, M&A, corporate messaging, branding strategies, and growth through consolidation. Over the years, his capacities have ranged from various executive positions, as well as President and CEO of entrepreneurial ventures to established roles reporting to public company boards, with significant leadership and team building skills.
Prior to Trilogy Capital Group, Mr. Minton was Executive Vice President at Staffing 360 Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: STAF) where he worked from 2012 to 2017. He was involved in the process of the company’s Alternative Public Offering, assisting in raising the initial capital to commence operations, as well as the process of the company’s acquisition and consolidation growth strategy as part of its mission to reach $300 million in annualized revenues, in addition to managing the company’s uplisting to NASDAQ in September 2015. Prior to Staffing 360 Solutions, Mr. Minton was the President of Trilogy Capital Partners, a New York-based financial services company and predecessor of Trilogy Capital Group, engaged in international merchant banking, strategic advisory services and financial communications, where he worked from 2009 to 2014. Mr. Minton served as Vice President of China America Financial Communications Group, as well as an Analyst at China US Venture from 2007 to 2009, where he consulted with numerous US-listed Chinese operating companies. From 2006 to 2007, Mr. Minton was an Analyst at Mesa West Capital, a privately held portfolio lender with a multi-billion dollar offering capability headquartered in Los Angeles, and he also worked at First Republic Bank in Palo Alto. Mr. Minton graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.
Chief Financial Officer and President
Mr. Scott is the Chief Financial Officer and President of Trilogy Capital Group. He is a forward-thinking senior level finance executive and leader with over thirty years of experience and a track record of building and directing best-in-class corporate finance organizations. Mr. Scott’s expertise includes corporate finance, management, corporate reorganizations, cost reduction and avoidance, financial analysis and reporting, IPO management, financial and contract negotiations, ISO 9000 Quality Systems, SEC reporting and compliance.
From 2006 to 2016, Ron served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Luvu Brands, Inc., a manufacturer and e-marketer of consumer products for the wellness, lifestyle and fashion seating markets. From 2004 to 2009, Mr. Scott was president of Impact Business Solutions, LLC, a consulting business that provided financial management services to small and medium sized public and private companies. Prior to Impact Business Solutions, and from 1990 to 2004, Mr. Scott was Executive Vice President – Finance and Administration and a member of the Board of Directors for Cyanotech Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed natural products company. Mr. Scott holds a B.S. degree in Finance and Management from San Jose State University and an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in Accounting from Santa Clara University. Mr. Scott has relevant operating experience with emerging growth companies and an in-depth understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial statements and SEC reporting requirements.
Vice President – Business Development
Mr. Demarest is Trilogy Capital Group’s Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Demarest brings to Trilogy his consummate business development skills with a particular emphasis on the financing of emerging growth companies. In an era of mass marketing, Mr. Demarest’s focus is highly targeted through the development of 1-to-1 relationships with institutional investors, family offices and high net worth investors.
Prior to Trilogy, Mr. Demarest served as Vice President Business Development for Earth Science Tech, Inc. operating in the fields of hemp cannabidiol (CBD), nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device R&D and is engaged in the distribution of CBD oil and a wide variety of wellness products. Concurrent with Earth Science, he worked with Stonegate Capital Partners, LLC, a national financial advisory firm. Before joining Earth Science, Mr. Demarest was National Sales Director for Midwest Metal Exchange, a precious metals dealer. In 2006, for six years, Mr. Demarest was Director of Investor Relations at Vertigo Theme Parks, a global theme parks company. In the early 2000s, Mr. Demarest was a principal at Hunter Scott Financial, LLC where he obtained his Series 24, Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses, opening and operating his own NASD Broker Dealer. Mr. Demarest has a BA in Business Administration from Florida State University.
Vice President – Finance
Mr. Jimenez is the Vice President of Finance at Trilogy Capital Group. He is a young bright-minded leader who has proven himself to be extremely knowledgeable and versatile, especially when it comes to financial modeling, industry research and business development. Mr. Jimenez graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration from Florida International University (FIU) and is currently enrolled in a vigorous Master of Science in Finance program at FIU.
Prior To Trilogy, Mr. Jimenez was a System Designer for Magnolia Audio Video, a high-end subdivision of Best Buy, where he performed luxury sales and added over $1 million yearly to topline store revenue. Mr. Jimenez has shown the capacity to be a strategic thinker and excellent communicator making him an essential asset to Trilogy at his young age.
